LLandlordDocs

Terms of service

1. What this service is

LandlordDocs provides self-help document templates that you complete yourself. We are not a law firm, we are not a substitute for an attorney, and we do not provide legal advice, legal opinions, or representation. Using this site does not create an attorney-client relationship.

2. Your responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for deciding whether a document suits your situation. Landlord-tenant law varies by state and by municipality, and it changes. Local ordinances — particularly rent control, just-cause eviction rules and registration requirements — may impose obligations our templates do not cover. If your matter is contested, unusual, or high-value, consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.

3. Licence

When you buy a document you receive a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use and adapt it for your own rental properties. You may not resell, redistribute, or republish the templates as a competing product.

4. Payment

Purchases are one-time. We do not store card details and we do not create recurring charges. Payments are processed by our merchant of record, who appears on your statement and handles applicable sales tax and VAT.

5. Refunds

See our refund policy. In short: email us within 7 days and we refund you.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of this service is limited to the amount you paid us. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost rent, court costs, or the outcome of any legal proceeding.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page at the time of your purchase.
